Virtual LGBTQ + Pride invites you to the Ann Arbor YMCA watch party
ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor YMCA will host the PRIDE Watch Party, which the city is celebrating virtually this year.
Ann Arbor will virtually celebrate LGBTQ + Pride on August 7th. The YMCA’s free personal watch party with additional activities takes place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 400 W. Washington St.
Activities include mini Zumba classes, crafts, family-friendly entertainment, freebies, and food and drink provided.
The event is open to all ages and to the public. However, visitors must register in advance. Use the keyword “PRIDE” to register.
“The Ann Arbor YMCA is excited to be an Ann Arbor PRIDE Sponsor and host a free watch party for our community,” said President / CEO Toni Kayumi. “As a non-profit organization that supports diversity, equality and inclusion, we offered a variety of LGBTQ + welcome programs at Y, such as gender embodiment workshops, Out to Swim and an LGBTQ + Family & Friends intergenerational dance.”
Because the event is being held indoors, YMCA officials require people who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to wear masks.
