Michigan Athletics Launches New Mobile Ticketing App

ANN ARBOR – The University of Michigan Athletics Department has launched their brand new mobile ticketing app.

Gone are the days when tickets were printed at home – the digital platform aims to make buying tickets and participating in games easy with a simple tap on your phone’s screen.

When purchasing, all mobile tickets are sent by email from [email protected] with an access link. iPhone users can download tickets to their Apple wallet, while Android users can do so via their Google Pay wallet.

Check out the video below to see how it works:

“Mobile ticketing platforms offer a number of advantages over traditional printed tickets, including contactless transactions, faster ticket delivery, flexibility for ticket holders, improved security and a reduction in counterfeiting scenarios, and efficiency at our venues,” said a press release from the UM Athletics Department of can.

Michigan Athletics urges fans to download tickets before the game as phone reception can be spotty at major sporting events.

Printed digital tickets will not be accepted for participation in a game.

The only event that gives returning season ticket holders the opportunity to get printed tickets is soccer.
