Greater Lansing high school football power rankings

Here is a look at the high school football power rankings entering Week 5 contests in Greater Lansing.


(Divisions 1-5)

1 East Lansing (4-0)

The Trojans gained an early edge in CAAC Blue race with home victory over DeWitt in matchup of state-ranked teams.

2.Mason (4-0)

Bulldogs opened big two-game stretch with road victory over Williamston in matchup of state-ranked teams.

3. DeWitt (2-2)

Panthers have suffered back-to-back losses in same season for the first time since 2005 after dropping tight game against East Lansing.

4.Portland (3-1)

Raiders routed Ionia to get to 2-0 in CAAC White and has posted all three of its wins by double figures.

5.Haslett (3-1)

Vikings have won three straight since loss to DeWitt, rolling to victory over Eastern on Friday.

1.Fowler (4-0)

Eagles remained unbeaten with a 20-14 win over Dansville

2. Pewamo Westphalia (3-1)

Pirates are on a three-game win streak with last two wins coming by an average of 42.5 points over CMAC competition.

3. Morrice (4-0)

Orioles have won each of their past three games by at least 28 points.

4. Portland St Patrick (3-1)

Loss to Breckenridge marked the first in the regular season for the Shamrocks since 2018, ending their 29-game win streak.

5. Ithaca (3-1)

Wins the last two weeks have come by at least 42 points for the Yellowjackets.
