If you’ve got something left to do this weekend, consider grabbing a free tree.
The Greening of Detroit, together with the Arbor Foundation and Life Remodeled, donated 250 trees that can be picked up on Saturday for free.
The following trees are available:

American hornbeam
-
Autumnal flame maple
-
October Glory Maple
-
Oak saucer
-
Shumard oak
The trees come in 3 gallon pots and come with planning instructions.
Greening of Detroit experts will also be on hand to help guests choose the right tree for their planting location.
The drawing will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Greening of Detroit office at 13000 West McNichols Road, Detroit
Another sweepstakes will be held Tuesday at the Durfee Innovation Society at 2470 Collingwood Street, Detroit, from 2pm to 4pm
