Portion Of Westbound I-94 In Detroit To Close This Weekend For Overpass Replacement – CBS Detroit
(CBS DETROIT) The Michigan Department of Transportation announced that the crews will be replacing bridge girders on the Frontenac Street flyover over I-94 in Detroit this weekend.
Starting at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, I-94 will be closed west from Gratiot Avenue to I-75.

All lanes of I-94 in a westerly direction are expected to reopen at 7 a.m. on Sunday, October 31st.
Traffic on I-94 going west will be diverted via the M-3 south (Gratiot Avenue), joining Gratiot Avenue west, and I-75 north back to I-94 west .

In a press release, MDOT officials said, “Traffic on I-94 going west will be via the M-3 going south (Gratiot Avenue), joining Gratiot Avenue going west and I-75 going west diverted back to I-94 heading west.
