High-rise developer Ann Arbor says alleged racism did not occur at its construction site

ANN ARBOR, MI – The developer behind a high-rise project in downtown Ann Arbor takes note of allegations of “extreme racism” against one of his contractors, but says he is not aware of any discrimination at his construction site.
Georgia-based Landmark Properties, which is building a 10-story high-rise apartment building for University of Michigan students at the corner of Main and William Streets, released a statement Friday, Jan. 28, a day after dozens of people protested across the street had the construction site.
