Fourth Chick-fil-A location opening in Grand Rapids area

WALKER, MI – A fourth Chick-fil-A in the Grand Rapids area opens this week.

The new Chick-fil-A at 356 Wilson Ave. NW in Standale will open for operations on Thursday October 14th. The regular opening times are from Monday to Saturday from 7.30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The location will only be open for drive-through, carry-out and terrace meals. People can pay and order contactless via the Chick-fil-A app or order online.

Chick-fil-A officials say the site employs around 200 full-time and part-time workers.

Other locations in the Grand Rapids area include 2750 E Beltline Ave. SE in Grand Rapids, 700 54th St. SW in Wyoming, and 1545 Edgeknoll Drive SE in Gaines Township.

“I’m honored and excited to bring the first Chick-fil-A-Restaurant to the Walker community,” said Tim Hiller, operator of the new location. “I look forward to looking after my team members and striving to be the highlight of every guest’s day.”

Hiller played quarterback at Western Michigan University, where he set a number of records before briefly signing with the Indianapolis Colts.

As part of the opening, Chick-fil-A officials say they will surprise 100 “local heroes” who impress Walker with free Chick-fil-A for a year. In addition, they plan to donate $ 25,000 to Feeding America, with funds being distributed to partners in the greater Grand Rapids area to help fight hunger.
