Detroit Lions sign Tommy Kraemer to 53-man roster, re-sign Daryl Worley to practice squad

the Detroit Lions added another undrafted rookie to their 53-man roster on Wednesday and removed offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer from the training team.

Kraemer replaces Logan Stenberg, who switched to the injured reserve on Monday.

Kramer signed with the Lions in May and received praise for his game during training camp. He was briefly promoted to the 53-man roster earlier this season after Taylor Decker sustained a finger injury during the week before the Lions opened the season against the San Francisco 49ers and has spent the rest of the season on the training roster.

Detroit Lions Guard Tommy Kraemer (78) warms up before a preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts at Ford Field in Detroit on Friday, August 27, 2021.

Decker remains in the injury reserve despite returning to training earlier this month. Lions have until November 9th to activate it for the 53-man roster or to close it for the year.

The Lions also signed cornerback Daryl Worley to the training team.

Worley was cut Tuesday after being hit for the long pass that kicked off the touchdown in The angel Rams’ 28:19 win over the Lions on Sunday.
