Up North Pride Returns For 2021 Celebration

After being postponed last year, Up North Pride is returning this year.

Join Up North Pride’s annual Pride Celebration from October 13-17.

This year’s celebrations include the Pride Ride, a short bike ride from F&M Park through downtown Traverse City, and the annual Sign Making Party in Little Fleet.

New to the program this year is the Pride Comedy Night at Short’s Brewing Company in Elk Rapids on Friday, October 15th.

All Up North Pride events, with the exception of Comedy Night, are family-friendly and free.

Tickets for the comedy night can be purchased here.

Saturday has a full day of celebration with food and drink from several local locations.

The annual Pride Picnic celebration starts at 1pm at F&M Park and is followed by our Pride Rally and Visibility March through downtown Traverse City to the Open Space.

Saturday night will be Drag Night with RuPaul’s Drag Race alum BenDeLaCreme in the lead role, followed by Silent Disco.

The final event of the annual Pride Celebration is the Big Gay Brunch on Sunday October 17th.

Go out to eat and stick to the Judy Garland themed cabaret.
