Ann Arbor SPARK to give away $ 200,000 to tech startups during Make investments360 competition

ANN ARBOR, Mich .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – During a2Tech360, Ann Arbor SPARK awarded $ 200,000 to startups through Invest360, a pitch competition recognizing promising emerging companies in mobility, healthcare, and information technology. Winners Bedestrian, Espervita Therapeutics, and LoanSense each received $ 50,000 and competed for an additional $ 50,000 People’s Choice award to be presented to LoanSense.

Mobility industry winner Bedestrian designs and builds logistics robots for delivery in healthcare systems. Healthcare winner Espervita Therapeutics has developed a pipeline of novel compounds with preclinical evidence of safety and efficacy in the treatment of liver cancer. Information technology sector winner LoanSense is a debt management platform that reduces student loan payments, thereby increasing student borrowers’ budget for a home.

Invest360 was embedded in the Michigan Angel Summit, Mobility Summit and MI-HQ’s Tech on the Edge events from a2Tech360. The People’s Choice contest was hosted by Ann Arbor SPARK during the Tech Talk event.
