University of Michigan students seeking research feedback from Ann Arbor Park visitors

ANN ARBOR – Students at the University of Michigan School of Information conducted a survey as part of a research project to better understand how to improve online resources so that residents and visitors alike can connect with, learn about, and know Ann Arbor’s parks to be able to enjoy.

Based on the responses they receive, the students hope to develop new information tools that will contribute to a better visitor experience.

The project builds on a study by the youngest students at the School of Information, which aimed to improve visitor access to the parks.

To participate in the study, individuals will be asked to complete a 10-minute survey about their experience with the city’s neighborhood parks. The survey has 15 questions and can be completed here.

Questions include how often do you visit the city’s parks, who you go with, and why you choose one park over another.

Those who take part in the survey have the option of leaving an email address for a follow-up interview. Answers will be anonymized before the group shares the results of the study with the City of Ann Arbor.
