Detroit Tigers pitcher throws up all over mound, demoted to Triple-A after the game

Detroit Tigers pitcher Beau Burrows made a season debut that he would love to forget.

Burrows, who made his first relief appearance of the season on Saturday, vomited all over the place after getting into trouble in the fifth inning of the Tigers game against the Chicago White Sox.

Burrows came into play in game four when the Tigers were trailing 8-2. But when the fifth inning started, he went a batter, gave up successive hits, and then went another batter before beating the next two White Sox hitters.

Burrows tried to close the inning for the Tigers but fell sick and vomited all over the hill.

Team coaches and coaches came to check on him and they finally decided to drag him.

Tiger’s manager AJ Hinch said afterward that Burrows was just nauseous and that there were no long-term health concerns.

Unfortunately for Burrows, the Tigers demoted him back to Triple-A after the game.
