“We really enjoy it. As I said, we all work together. “

Known for some of the best Halloween shows for nearly four decades, Tillson Street started with a woman’s vision.

“Halloween night when they close, this street is full of people,” said Vicki Lee, resident of Tillson Street, who started the annual celebration.

“We normally plan with 2,000 trick-or-treaters.”

Lee was known on the block for creating elaborate outdoor decorations for Halloween.

Soon her neighbors joined in and turned Tillson Street into a Halloween extravaganza.

It’s wonderful, ”said Charov.

“So many people thank us. They just love coming here with their families and you know they are very grateful and the price is always perfect for everyone because it’s free. “

Vicki also uses the displays to raise money for a good cause with the Buzz Lee Memorial Scholarship Fund; Tillson Street T-shirts sold in honor of her late husband.

We thought professional scholarships are the ones that don’t necessarily get the other money that so many other kids get, ”Lee said.

Vicki says that every year she is motivated to put a smile on the kids’ faces with the help of her neighbors as they bring a great and unique Halloween experience to Small Town, USA together.

Oh please come and see how it is, ”Lee said.

“Like I said, free night, I mean who can ask for better.”
