The homecoming parade in East Lansing is still on despite no game being played

EAST LANSING, Michigan (WILX) – The East Lansing High School homecoming parade continues Friday night despite the cancellation of the Lansing Everett high school football game.

Everett had to give up because they don’t have enough players to field a team.

The parade begins at 5:30 am from high school and heads south to Burcham Drive. Students then head west to Abbot, turn left, and march toward Albert Avenue. They turn the corner of Bailey Street to return to Burcham and finish high school.

These streets will be closed or diverted during the parade, but should reopen at 6:30 a.m.
