Speeding down the main streets of Ann Arbor is a goal of a new initiative

ANN ARBOR, MI – Reducing vehicle speeds on major roads to improve safety and prevent serious accidents is a key goal of Ann Arbor’s latest transportation initiative.

The city council voted Monday evening, October 18, to hire Sam Schwartz Consultants LLC for $ 362,739 to help implement the city’s new Vision Zero transportation plan, which the same New York firm was co-developing.
