St. Clair Shores man to serve 12 years for Detroit eatery shooting – Macomb Daily
A St. Clair Shores man was recently sentenced to 12 to 22 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of a woman at a Coney Island restaurant in mid-town Detroit.
Connor Craparotta, 24, received the sentence June 2 from Judge Kevin Cox of Wayne County Circuit Court for the August 2020 incident at Detroit One Coney Island on Woodward Avenue near Mack Avenue, according to court records. The sentence includes two years for possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, to which he also pleaded. He received 643 days of credit for time served.

Craparotta’s co-defendant, Andrew Lee Harris, 26, of Lansing, received 10 to 22 years after pleading guilty to the same charges.
Both defendants had several other charges dismissed as part of plea deals.
Craparotta was wounded during the altercation with a man who was seated at the restaurant when he and Harris entered, according to police. An exchange of gunfire also resulted in a 60-year-man and a 24-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds.
Craparotta was pulled into a vehicle by a friend and taken to a hospital, where he was arrested, according to police. Harris was also arrested at the hospital.
