Sartorius, an international partner in life science research, is expanding its presence in Ann Arbor, MI with a new 130,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility expected to open in late 2023.
Sartorius will expand its presence in the Tech Loop in the Ann Arbor Research Park with a flagship location in North America. The company has acquired more than 15 hectares of land for further expansion. The project is expected to create 160 jobs over three years and includes product development, operations and other supporting functions.
The Ann Arbor site is an integral part of Sartorius’ ongoing global expansion to support the development and production of biopharmaceuticals, which will enable Sartorius to expand its activities and capabilities in the Ann Arbor biotech hub. Sartorius will more than double its capacities for its most important product groups by 2025.
