WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – Two elected heads of state in the parish of Scio, just outside Ann Arbor, have challenged efforts to oust them if they are dismissed by appealing to the court.
Supervisor Will Hathaway and Trustee Jane Vogel are the target of a recall campaign led by two township residents. Recent petitions against each official, approved by the Washtenaw County Electoral Commission on November 5, focus on an August vote to double Hathaway’s salary.
