In need of some excitement in Greater Lansing? Check out these ideas

Are you a creature of habit? I have to admit that these days I kind of am. I’ve been doing the same things on weekends lately. Happy hour on Friday, maybe a movie theater on Saturday and a couch potato on Sunday with a book or a movie.

It’s time to start thinking like we’re kids again and do other fun things like bowling, ice skating, and biking. Or try something new like throwing an ax.

Hope you enjoyed some of my ideas, but let’s see some great ideas from my friends on One of my favorite local readings. You and your readers have some great ideas to pass the time.

Cat lovers will dig this

If you’re a cat lover, stick with the cat friendly Constellation Cat Cafe. If you’re not a cat fanatic then you can easily transform yourself into one. You can also have a great cup of coffee and enjoy the quiz night.

How about if you spend your next weekend at? Fenner Nature Center. Check out 134 acres of public green space. The live native reptiles and amphibians are very cool to study. You can also relax with the songbirds and deer. It is also fun to hang out with wild turkeys. So much to do with the whole family.

Pinball and arcade games galore in Lansing Area.

This is exactly my alley Flipper Pete is a blast and reminds me of all the neighborhoods I threw into these machines as a kid. I would spend hours playing pinball. Yes very easy to lose the time playing at the many pinball machines, My favorites, of course, are the old school pinball machines and arcade games. Skee-Ball is also a bang for winning prizes.

The Grid Arcade & Bar in Old Town is another cool place to find out if you like something like this.
