Grand Rapids Tequila Fest to feature premium tequila, cocktails
GRAND RAPIDS, MI — The Grand Rapids Tequila Fest happening Saturday, Aug. 13 at DeVos Place will feature over 100 tequilas, mezcals and cocktails.
The event, which will run from 7 pm to 10 pm, will feature samples of “the finest brands and varieties of premium and ultra-premium tequilas, as well as tequila liqueurs, cremes, infusions, mezcals and flavored tequilas,” according to a press release.
There will also be tacos and other Mexican food available from food trucks.
General tasting tickets are $45. They include a tasting glass, 10 half-ounce sampling tickets and a keepsake photo.
VIP tasting tickets are $65. They provide a one-hour window for VIP ticket holders to sample tequilas before the Grand Tasting admission begins, as well as 15 half-ounce sampling tickets. In addition, “designated driver tickets are available for $10 and must accompany a paid attendee,” according to a news release.
