DETROIT – Police said footage from cameras from Dan Gilberts Rock Security helped them arrest a suspected armed man.
Shawn Wright is charged with shooting a person near Greektown. The video shows the officers attempting to arrest the suspect near Fort and Brush streets before the suspect escaped on foot.
The incident occurred at 1:00 a.m. on September 17th. Police said Wright was later arrested based on the suspect description they received from Rock Security.
Wright is alleged to have opened fire on an SUV and hit a passenger in the vehicle.
The victim is expected to be fine.
