For Detroit, head coach Dan Campbell and Co. are currently preparing for their own conference for six games against division opponents, four games against teams from NFC West, four games against teams from AFC North and two games against teams from the two remaining divisions. During that off-season, the owners approved a schedule for 17 games. Each team will now play in an additional AFC versus NFC game based on the previous season’s division rating and on a rotating division basis.
