Country music superstar Eric Church bringing ‘Gather Again Tour’ to Grand Rapids, Detroit

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Award-winning country superstar Eric Church has announced concert dates for 2022 in Grand Rapids and Detroit.

Reigning Entertainer of the Year of the Country Music Awards and Nominee for Entertainer of the Year of the Academy of Country Music plan to visit 55 cities in the United States and Canada during the Gather Again Tour.

The tour includes stops at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Friday, January 21, 2022 and the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

For the first time in his career, Church will adopt an in-the-round setup, with the stage in the center of each arena floor throughout the tour to accommodate as many fans as possible.

Tickets for both Michigan shows will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 7th at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

“It became very clear to me that the only way to get back to normal is through vaccination. You have to put needles in your arms, ”Church told Billboard on April 3rd.

“I just want to play shows. The task of politics is to divide – this is how you win elections. These things that bind us together are music and sports. The times when, whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican or whatever, you put your arm around the person next to you. We need that. I need this.”

Church was actively involved in promoting vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic and will soon appear in an upcoming PSA to Promote Vaccine Awareness. The tour announcement comes as he prepares to release his triple album project.

Heart will be available everywhere on Friday April 16th and Soul on Friday April 23rd. The middle album & will be available exclusively for the Church Choir on Tuesday April 20th.
