Checking up on snow probabilities, cold temperatures

DETROIT – As you read, think about Tuesday’s 70 degree finish and keep in mind that there are more 70s to come next week.

Temperatures drop to lows in the 20s overnight. A brisk wind from the north will give teenagers wind chill in the subway and south zones, with a single digit feeling in the west and north zones.

The thermometer reads mid-30s through the afternoon, but the wind chill will still help a little. It feels like the 20s for the entire Detroit Tigers v Cleveland game, which starts at 1:10 p.m. at Comerica Park on Thursday.

We might see a few snowflakes during the day, but they’re more likely to be in the northern zone on the lakeshore.

Thursday night will be even colder, with most of the teenage places seeing night lows.

We’re quickly turning the corner on Friday and the highs are returning to the top 40s. A lot of sunshine helps this cause and also our moods.

Over the Easter weekend we get another jump in temperature. Highs hit the low 60s on Saturday and the mid 60s on Sunday. But the warmth doesn’t stop there. The maximum values for the first half of the next week are around 70 degrees. The morning lows will return to the 1940s on Sunday and continue the forecast.
