Carbon monoxide killed 3 people found in Grand Rapids car | State News

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan (AP) – Two women and a baby found in a car in Grand Rapids died from carbon monoxide exposure, authorities said.

Ruby Roberts, 78, daughter-in-law Ellay Mae Brown, 60, and Zaida Ashford, 4 months, were spotted outside Robert’s house on November 4th.

The police released few details. But death certificates verified by MLive.com show carbon monoxide from the vehicle killed them. Autopsies were carried out.

The funeral service for the three took place on Monday.

Roberts’ granddaughter Nicole Dantzler said she spotted her in the vehicle.

“You would do anything for anyone. Give money out of your own pocket, ”Dantzler said last week, referring to Roberts and Brown.
