Rockford, Illinois – The Rockford IceHogs are finalizing a three-game road trip tonight with a rematch against the Grand Rapids Griffins at 6:00 p.m. CT at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. Tonight is the fourth of eight meetings between the two clubs.

Pigs continue their hot streak in Grand Rapids
The IceHogs extended their point streak to a season high of four games (3-0-0-1) and took their third straight win last night with a 4-1 win at Grand Rapids, improving to 1-2-0-0 in their head-to-head series against the Griffins. Since the beginning of November, the IceHogs have scored points in eight of their last eleven games (6-3-1-1). Summary & highlights

Delia delicacies
goalkeeper Collin Delia reached a season high of 40 saves yesterday evening, including 16 saves in the third period, for his second win of the season. He always improved to 8-7-1 in 16 games against the Griffins. The 40 stops are reached by an IceHogs goalkeeper with the third most frequent this season Arvid Soderbloms 40 stops on October 16 in Chicago (5-3 win). Soderblom holds the top two spots with 45 parades on October 30th in Texas (4-3 win) and 47 parades on October 22nd in Iowa (3-6 loss).

Kurashev collects
In his second game with the IceHogs since his assignment by the Chicago Blackhawks, striker Philip
Kurashev scored his first two goals of the season against the Griffins last night. He is the fourth IceHogs skater to have scored multiple goals in a game this season Evan Barratt last Wednesday in Milwaukee, Lukas Reichels Hat trick on November 7th against Manitoba and Alex Nylanders two balance sheets in Chicago on October 16.

The IceHogs end their three game road trip tonight with a rematch against the Griffins. After that set, the IceHogs only have three more sections on the schedule where they will play three or more games in a row outside the BMO Harris Bank Center. They’ll be another road trip with three games against Chicago, Milwaukee and Grand Rapids from February 12-19, a run of five games against Manitoba, Milwaukee and Cleveland from March 3–15 and a trip west for four games complete from 1st to 5th April versus Tucson and Henderson.

The Rockford IceHogs conclude their road trip with three games tomorrow. Saturday 4th December against the Griffins at 6 p.m. CT at the Van Andel Arena.
