(CBS DETROIT) – Younger children are becoming addicted to social media, according to a new study from the University of Michigan.
The study found that 50% of children ages 10 to 12 and a third of children ages 7 to 9 use social media apps.

While most parents track their children’s use of social media, more than 30% of children find ways to bypass parental controls.
