Cook is one of many talented newcomers to Oakland County this year, and she demonstrated her talent with a victorious 3-mile time of 6:57 p.m. to claim the county title. Michael Hegarty, Dearborn Divine Child Boys Cross Country
The junior made it big at Willow Metropark, winning the Wayne County Championship with a 3-mile time of 4:00 p.m.
Jennie Line, Northville Girls Cross Country
Line had a fantastic season for the mighty Northville roster, adding another win by winning the Wayne County Championship with a 5k time of 18:19, which was a win of nearly 16 seconds.
Zach Wittenberg, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood
Wittenberg scored two goals to lead the Cranes to a 4-1 win over De La Salle in the Catholic League championship game last week.
