A Traverse City man was arrested Saturday night in the Bear Lake community for possession of methamphetamine.
A soldier at the Michigan State Police’s Cadillac Post stopped a 41-year-old Jackson Mackey’s vehicle on 13 Mile Road for speeding around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. According to the MSP, Mackey was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was arrested and placed in the Manistee County Jail.
Mackey was charged Monday in Manistee County of methamphetamine possession in a count, second or subsequent, offense.
His next scheduled court date is October 13th.
