Top teams remain at the top of the Ann Arbor region’s football power rankings after dominant wins
ANN ARBOR – We are already nearing halftime for the Michigan high school football season and several teams from the Ann Arbor area have established themselves as the best in the area.
See where the teams sit in the power leaderboard for week 4.

10. Ann Arbor Pioneer (0-2)
Previous ranking: No ranking
Last week’s result: lost 34-0 to Ann Arbor Huron
The Pioneers still have a long way to go before they claim a 10-game loss from last season.

9. Ann Arbor Skyline (0-3)
Previous ranking: No. 8
Last week’s result: lost 57-14 to Dexter
The Eagles allow 49 points per game, which is clearly not a recipe for success.

8. Ann Arbor father Gabriel Richard (0-3)
Previous ranking: No. 9
Last Week’s Score: Lost 31-21 to Dearborn Divine Child
FGR continues to fight on both sides of the ball, losing an average of 10.3 points per game.

7. Ypsilanti Lincoln (1-2)
Previous ranking: No. 7
Last week’s score: 34-14 lost to saline
After 51 points at the start of the season, the Railsplitters have scored a total of 35 points in their last two defeats.

6. Whitmore Lake (3-0)
Previous ranking: No. 6
Last week’s result: Beat Dearborn Advanced Tech 36-0
The Trojans have their best start since 2008 and have an opportunity to continue that success this week.

5. Skill (2-1)
Previous ranking: No. 3
Last week results: 37-36 lost to Temperance Bedford
The Dreadnaughts take a slight drop in the rankings after a narrow loss to Bedford. You can get back on track against Lincoln this week.

4. Milan (3-0)
Previous ranking: No. 4
Last week’s result: Beat Grosse Ile 48-7
The Big Reds will face their toughest test of the season yet when Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (3-0) comes to town.

3. Ann Arbor Huron (2-1)
Previous ranking: No. 5
Last week’s results: Beat Pioneer 34-0
Huron has shown it can compete in the SEC red and has a chance to show that it is a serious contender in the league when it heads to Temperance Bedford (3-0) on Friday.

2. Chelsea (3-0)
Previous ranking: No. 2
Last week’s results: Beat Jackson 41-7
The Bulldogs are in 1st place in Division 4 and for good reason after another blowout win. You have won 17 games in a row in the regular season.

Previous ranking: No. 1
Last Week Results: Defeat Lincoln 34-14
Salines Offense continues to collect points after their 40th league win in a row last week and dominates the SEC-Red.
