TRAVERSE CITY – At every baseball game in America you can hear the crowd sing, “Buy me peanuts and Cracker Jack”. The Traverse City Pit Spitters may be trying to add another subject to the famous texts.
The team will submit new foods for the 2021 concession menu when the third annual GFS Fan Food Vote begins. Ideas can be submitted through March 26th at www.PitSpitters.com.
The team asks for items with a maximum of five ingredients. Fried or grilled products are always welcome. Photos of the articles are welcome.
The ideas are narrowed down and presented to the public for voting in April. The winner of this vote will be crowned champion and added to the 2021 menu.
The winner receives a free small suite (12 people) for a game in 2021 and throws out a ceremonial first place.
