Dress up your best face because it’s time for a selfie!
Selfie museums have been on trend for a few years, and it wasn’t until last February that the first opened in Michigan near Detroit. Now Grand Rapids is getting its own!
Selfie WRLD will soon open in the Tanger Outlets in the Byron Center. The description on the mall’s website says it’s the most popular selfie museum in the country and a place for people to improve their social media game.
Come in to snap Instagramable photos with friends, create chic and hip TikTok videos, or be the star of your own photo shoot! The possibilities and the fun are endless!
The museum will have 25 stations where visitors can pose and record their selfies. It seems like they have rooms made specifically for Grand Rapids, but they’ll also include some of the fan favorites found in their other locations like Miami and Vegas.
We don’t have an official opening date yet, but based on a recent Instagram post that I predict before the month is up, I’d keep checking the site for an update.
In the meantime, they are hiring part-time workers. They say they are looking for someone who is fun, hardworking and wants to work in an energetic place. If interested, email your resume to [email protected].
