ANN ARBOR – We’re approaching the postseason with only three weeks left in the regular season as the best football teams in the Ann Arbor area have already established themselves.
However, there are several teams in the region that are still working as the season progresses to prove that they are among the best in the region.
See where teams rank in the power rankings after six weeks of action.
10. Ann Arbor Pioneer (1-5)

The Railsplitters survived a horror against Skyline and managed to snap a 4 game loss and keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Trojans are a few games away from unbeaten and still stand a chance of the best regular seasons in programming history.
4. Skill (4-1)
Previous ranking: No. 4
Last week’s result: lost 28-21 to Ann Arbor Huron
Despite losing the showdown to Huron, the Dreadnaughts are still a dangerous team to make noise in the postseason.

Last week’s result: Beat Dexter 28-21
The River Rats continue to follow the call with impressive wins and become a team to watch as the postseason kicks in.
2. Chelsea (6-0)

Last week’s result: Beat Ypsilanti 49-13
Although their schedule is not comparable to that of other teams in the region, the Bulldogs are still on track to compete for the Division 4 state championship. Chelsea’s schedule is catching up in the last three weeks, which should help them once the postseason kicks off.
1. Saline solution (6-0)
Previous ranking: No. 1
Last week’s result: Beat Pioneer 41-0
No surprise here. Remaining the top team in the region after another dominant SEC Red win, the Hornets continue to prove that they will be an uphill battle in the Division I playoffs despite the injuries they sustained this fall.
