Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams – NFL Week 7 (10/24/21) | How to Watch, Start Time

When the NFL fixtures are released, teams, media and fans alike revolve around a select number of games to watch out for. For Detroit Lions fans, almost everyone circled Sunday’s matchup with the Los Angeles Rams as it will be the first time Detroit will face its former quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Stafford leads in almost every single category in franchise history. The former No. 1 pick is the all-time leader in passes, completions, yards, touchdowns and game-winning drives (along with sacks and interceptions). He led the Lions to their first playoff spot in 12 years in 2011. He is considered to be the greatest player to ever wear the Honolulu Blue.

Stafford will face the quarterback he was traded in for Jared Goff, and it’s obvious who got the better end of the stick. Both quarterbacks have a win against each other as Stafford won back with the Lions in 2016 while Goff won with the Rams against Detroit in 2018.

Detroit will be looking to beat its former quarterback on the road to break a winless skid that is now up to 10 after its embarrassing home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Her 0-6 record leaves her as the only team in the entire NFL.
