Our top photos from the annual Grand Rapids Fourth of July fireworks show
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Grand Rapids hosted its annual Fourth of July fireworks show downtown at Ah-Nab-Awen Park at the Grand River where several thousands of people gathered for entertainment throughout the evening.
Live music acts began at 6 pm starting with DJ Rob Sparks and then a performance by the Stone Soul Rhythm Band before the fireworks show began. The Pearl Street and Michigan street bridges were closed to traffic to make room for spectators to see the fireworks outside of the park.
The fireworks display went on for over 20 minutes after starting at 10:30 pm
