More mild and brighter Saturday

DETROIT – Welcome to Motown on Saturday and Mother’s Day weekend.

This morning is going to be pretty chilly with rising sunshine. It remains dry this afternoon with slightly milder conditions than yesterday and the day before, but temperatures remain below average. Chillier with increasing clouds tonight. The rain returns on Mother’s Day. Sunshine is celebrating a comeback after the holiday weekend.

Saturday morning is partly sunny and quite cold. Temperatures begin in the mid and upper 30’s. Families who go for a walk in the morning need their jackets, hats, and sweatshirts to stay warm.
