Michigan Recruits Abstract: RB Wild Signs CJ Stokes in Playoff Victory

The high school football season is drawing to a close quickly, but several Michigan recruits are still on duty as they advance deeper into the playoffs.

Here are available stats for Michigan soccer commits and top goals from last week.

The Wolverines 2022 recruitment class is currently 18th nationally and 4th in the Big Ten, according to the composite system of 247Sports. The team has 17 commits.

3 Star RB CJ Stokes, Columbia (SC) Hammond

The 717 recruit ran wild in a 56-3 playoff win over Charleston Porter-Gaud, hitting a total of 176 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Stokes, who rushed to the 1,000-yard rushing mark for each of the past three seasons, also had 40 yards.

3 Star DT Kenneth Grant, Merrillville, Ind.

The 6-foot-4,335-pounder helped the undefeated Merrillville advance to the playoffs, recording three tackles and a sack in a 39-7 win over Mishawaka Penn.

3-star LB Aaron Alexander, Belleville

Alexander registered a sack in a 12-7 post-season win over Dearborn Fordson. It ranks 1,177 in the country.

3-star hotel TE Marlin Klein, Rabun-Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee

Klein had three catches for 25 yards in a 35-16 playoff win over Charlotte Latin. The 6-foot-6, 215-pounder is the No. 527 national recruit.

3 Star Hotel LB Kevonte Henry, Lawndale (California) Leuzinger

Henry, who also plays running back for Leuzinger, stormed six times for 36 yards in a 35-34 playoff loss to Thomas von Aquin. The 6-foot-4,225-pounder skyrocketed last month in 247Sports’ rankings and is now # 428 nationwide in the composite rankings.

2022 target

3-star WR Kaleb Webb, Powder Springs (GA) McEachern

A dedicated East Carolina man, Webb drove his team to a 34-28 overtime win over South Gwinnett, catching nine passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns. Recruit # 667 visited Ann Arbor nationwide on Nov. 5 and is still thinking heavily about the Wolverines.

5 Star QB Dante Moore, Detroit Martin Luther King

The number 16 recruit in the next cycle led King to another playoff win and threw three touchdown passes in a 28-7 win over Allen Park. Watch them here, here and here.
