“Meet the trees” on a guided tour of the Matthaei Botanical Garden in Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR – Join the staff at Matthaei Botanical Gardens on a free walking tour on Wednesday as you get up close and personal with many of the property’s trees.

The “Meet the Trees” walk takes participants through the forest to explore a species whose leaves taste like Froot Loops and learn, among other things, how to use a special key to identify the trees.

After the event, free keys will be given out to explore trees in your own neighborhood.

This event is aimed at participants aged 6-11 years.

The tour takes place near the main entrance to the gardens on the front stairs and runs from 5pm to 6.30pm

The Matthaei Botanical Garden is located at 1800 N. Dixboro Rd.
