WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – Christine Deacons went to McDonald’s when the world collapsed.
The COVID-19 bans have put the college professor’s courses online. But her home on a dirt road minutes outside the village of Manchester, 25 miles southeast of Ann Arbor, got stuck in a “dead zone” of the internet, Deacons said.
