Hook and Looking: A New Way To Register Deer

There is a new way for hunters to register their deer in Michigan.

The Michigan DNR has implemented a new online registration form that allows people to enter information about their deer without having to visit a DNR control station in person.

This year, Michigan will be able to register online for the first time.

The DNR office in Traverse City says there are fewer in-person visits this year and that you can still get your deer to their control station.

“It’s available online almost instantly for nationwide totals, season updates, and allows our biometricians to process their information much faster,” said Steve Griffith, a DNR wildlife biologist.
