Grand Rapids Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services to host COVID-19 vaccine clinic

GRAND RAPIDS, me. – Deaf and hard of hearing in Grand Rapids host vaccination clinics for the deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing.

To make the vaccination process as easy as possible, the clinics have ASL interpreters and other means of communication, including pocket talkers.

The clinic is by appointment only and offers the Pfizer vaccine in two doses.

The first clinic will be on May 10th and the Kent County’s South Clinic on Kalamazoo Ave. SE in Kentwood. The clinic receiving the second dose of the vaccine will be held on June 3rd in the same location.

Those who live in the same household as someone who is deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing are asked to get vaccinated at the same time.
