Daily Covid-19 minute: lost vaccination cardMore than 50% of adults in the US have now received at least one shot of the Covid vaccine. But what if you lose your vaccination card? If you still have your vaccination card, take a picture of it and keep the original in a safe place like you would to protect your Social Security card. You can laminate it too, but this can complicate things if you need a booster shot in the future to add to the card. Therefore, it may be better to laminate a photocopy of the vaccination card. What do you do if you’ve already lost your card? It is best to go back to where you were originally vaccinated for a replacement. If you go make sure you bring your ID. It is also helpful if you can remember the day you received your vaccine. If that doesn’t work, check with your state’s vaccination registry. They usually keep an electronic record of everyone who has received a vaccine. You can find this information on the CDC website.
