Chilli Cook Off

TRAVERSE CITY – The Traverse Area District Library is hosting its Chili Cook Off on October 24th at 1pm in the main branch parking lot. Tasters can try spicy, chicken, vegetarian, and other chillies.

Dinner on the farm

MANCELONA – On October 24th at 5 p.m., a farm-to-table dinner will be served in the Danu Hof. A tour of the farm starts at 4:30 p.m. Food consists of chefs from the Aerie Restaurant and Lounge in Acme, the Terrain Restaurant in Belliare, and the Great Lakes Chocolate and Dessert Co. in Traverse City.

Full moon dinner planned at Black Star

SUTTONS BAY – Black Star Farms continues its Arcturos Dining Series with the Full Moon Dinner at 6.30 p.m. on October 30th at the Inn. The menu includes parsnip soup, charred cauliflower, scallops, apple and walnut salad, leg of lamb, and coconut tapioca. All courses are paired with wines.
