The new President Sheira Cohen shared how JYP was a central part of her Jewish life during her time in Ann Arbor and her anticipation for the coming year.
On August 15, Jewish Young Professionals of Ann Arbor (JYP) held their annual Community Celebration to celebrate the group’s accomplishments over the past year, honor the 2020-2021 board, and install the 2021-2022 board. Parishioners attending the event at Temple Beth Emeth enjoyed appetizers and desserts.
Outgoing CEO Joelle Abramowitz spoke about the critical role groups like JYP play in community building and the lay leaders who drive them. The new President Sheira Cohen shared how JYP was a central part of her Jewish life during her time in Ann Arbor and her anticipation for the coming year. The event ended with a champagne toast and socializing.
