East Lansing Public Schools fill out vaccination appointments for children in 20 minutes

EAST LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – East Lansing public schools will be busy distributing nearly 200 COVID-19 vaccines next Tuesday.

The appointment slots were completely filled within 20 minutes of publication.

The vaccination clinic is open from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at East Lansing High School on November 9th.

Parents or legal guardians must be present at the vaccination appointment for your child between the ages of 5 and 17.

All three vaccine options will be available during the clinic, Pfizer ages five and up, and Moderna and Johnson & Johnson ages 18 and up.

They are working with the Ingham County Health Department (ICHD) to plan a second clinic, according to a Facebook post from ELPS.

“Hold on and check your emails!” Said the post.

An info graphic from ICHD says they will return on Tuesday November 30th to hand out the second dose. The appointment of the second dose corresponds to the appointment time of the first dose.

If you have any questions, call ICHD at (517) 887-4623.
