3 people found dead in parked automotive, Grand Rapids police say

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Three people were found dead in a vehicle in a neighborhood in the southeast of the city on Thursday, November 4th.

Police detectives and forensic investigators from Grand Rapids are on site on Brookshire Drive SE, north of 33rd Street.

Police and firefighters responded to a 9:53 am report from three unresponsive people in a vehicle, Sgt. Dan Adams said.

He said rescuers tried to provide medical assistance but were unsuccessful. A coroner reacts to the scene.

Adams said it was too early to tell what happened or if there was a foul in the game. It was uncertain how long the three had been in the vehicle.

“It is a death investigation at this point,” he said.

The age and gender of the participants were not disclosed.

Family members of the victims showed up at the scene and were assisted by victim attorneys, Adams said.

Police asked people to avoid the area while the investigation was ongoing.
