Bakehouse46 opens on the former site of the Ann Arbor Cupcake Station

ANN ARBOR, me. – Bakehouse46 opened on Friday and is the newest addition to the Ann Arbor food scene.

The Liberty Street location is a joint venture between Cupcake Station and Blakes Farms, Michigan, and sells a variety of items including specialty cupcakes and Blakes Farms cider grinder and donuts.

Hungry eaters can have coffee or order sandwiches, cookies, bagels, ice cream, and homemade fudge, as well as specialty caramel apples made from apples grown at Blake’s Apple Orchard in Armada.

The chain opened as the third metro location in Detroit, with the Ann Arbor location joining sister locations in Rochester and Birmingham.

The Tree Town location is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bakehouse46 is located at 116 E. Liberty Street.
