Bakehouse46 offers cupcakes, ciders, and donuts in Ann Arbor. at

The ovens heat up and the cider flows. Another Bakehouse46 location opens on Friday and offers gourmet cupcakes, cider and donuts, as well as many other sweet treats. The candy store is the third Metro Detroit Bakehouse46 and is located at 116 E. Liberty Street.

Bakehouse46 is a joint venture between Cupcake Station of Michigan and Blakes Farms, based in Macomb County. The collaboration brings together a variety of signature Cupcake Station cupcakes and other sweets along with Blake’s signature cider and cider donuts.

There are also gourmet donuts, apples and fudge, cookies and brownies. A selection of Blakes Farms goods will be available as well as coffee, bagels and sandwiches.

On Friday, the first 46 customers will receive a special offer: a free coffee and cider donut every day until December 7th.

The opening times of Bakehouse46 are Mon.-Sat. 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-7 p.m. with pick-up service and limited food service.

Additional Bakehouse46 locations are open in Birmingham and Rochester. Cupcake Station stores in Ferndale and Plymouth are to be renamed Bakehouse46.

The concept of the effort between Blakes Farms to convert and rename Cupcake Station to Bakehouse46 was to go beyond cupcakes. The first location opened in downtown Birmingham in February 2020. The name Bakehouse46 refers to 1946, the year the Blake family of companies began in Armada.
