Attend a virtual talk about iconic restaurants in Ann Arbor this weekend

ANN ARBOR – Are you a fan of nutrition history? Then an event this weekend could be just the thing for you.

The authors Jon Milan and Gail Offen will give a virtual lecture on their 2016 book “Iconic Restaurants of Ann Arbor” on Sunday at 1pm.

The event is part of the Living Room Lecture series presented by the Beth Israel Congregation and the Ann Arbor JCC.

During the talk, Milan and Offen talk about Ann Arbor’s legendary restaurants – both past and present – and even solve a few mysteries, including the naming of the St.

“Whether your fondest food memories from Ann Arbor began in the popular green stands of Drake’s Sandwich Shop or in the middle of the carved table tops of the pretzel bell or came from newer stations at Pizza Bob or Zingerman – every generation has a favorite to share,” says the event announcement .
