Ann Arbor’s 2020 Defensive Player of the Year will vote for college football

Dylan Beck had a breakout year as a senior last football season and is now on the next level.

Defensive Player of the Year 2020 Ann Arbor has pledged to officially play at Olivet College this week, the school announced on Wednesday morning.

Beck, a 6-foot-2,27-pound lineman who was one of the best in the state in 2020, often dominated the opposing offense and created havoc in the trenches.

With Beck anchoring the defense, the Big Reds only allowed 15 points per game and even helped on both sides of the ball to bring them a second consecutive district championship.

He led the Ann Arbor area with 90 tackles, including 15 for loss and a force fumble. Beck also made an impression on the other side of the ball as he helped Milan as an attacking lineman, averaging 6.6 yards per rush.

In addition to the Ann Arbor POY honors, Beck has been named the first team in the Division 4 Associated Press All-State, first team in the All-Huron League, and first team in the All-Region for the 2020 season.
